Kim Kardashian was reportedly followed hours before she was held at gunpoint and robbed of $10 million in jewels, the >Daily Mail reports. Kanye West , and sister

In footage posted on Daily Mail, the car can be seen trying to get close to the SUV carrying Kardashian, weaving between photographers who were also trailing the reality star’s car on motorbikes.
Photographers who were driving alongside the Fiat told the Daily Mail that the man who was driving the Fiat didn’t appear to be a photographer and that he was “talking loudly on his phone but looked to be smartly dressed.”>PHOTOS: Kim Kardashian’s Most NSFW Selfies
The Daily Mail, citing sources close to French law enforcement, reports that Kardashian may have been followed by two men days before the robbery. The men have been described as “Caucasian” and “North African,” and the site notes that they “posed as a plain-clothed detective and as a photographer.”
The Daily Mail reports that at one point, the driver of the vehicle tried to enter a restaurant behind Kardashian but wasn’t allowed inside. When asked who he was by fellow photographers who were angered by his driving, the Daily Mail reports, the man said he was a police officer. (As previously reported by Us Weekly, law enforcement confirmed to Us that Kardashian was robbed by five men disguised as law enforcement.)
The site also reports that photographers noticed a man standing outside of Kardashian and West’s apartment for two hours and clutching his iPhone.
A police source previously told Us that authorities believe the robbery was an "inside job" and that a photographer — or someone staged as a photographer — helped tip off the thieves by alerting them once Kardashian’s longtime bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, had left the flat.
Although the investigation is ongoing — and the suspects are still at large — law enforcement previously told Us they believe the crime was committed by a “highly organized” gang that had done a great deal of planning before the raid.
"Detectives are satisfied that the robbers could have easily tricked their way into Kardashian's apartment block, [but] it is not clear how they got into her actual flat," the police source previously told >Us. “The baffling part of the inquiry is how the robbers got into the apartment. Of course, it's possible they tricked their way in, but at that time of the [early morning] it's unclear who actually opened the door.”
It was previously confirmed that the robbers gained access inside the apartment in the luxury building known as the Hôtel de Portals by attacking a male concierge. The concierge was held at gunpoint and gagged by the five men and was later hidden inside a stairwell cabinet.
“We are dealing with a young woman who was practically alone with a hugely valuable amount of jewelry,” the police source previously added to Us. “She would never open the door in the middle of the night in these circumstances, so who did if it wasn't opened with a key? There were no signs of forced entry, but there's also no proof that a key was used.”
Jeanne d'Hauteserre, mayor of the 8th Arrondissement of Paris, in which the apartment is situated, also told Us that it is likely that a local gang was involved.>PHOTOS: Celebrity Mugshots
“There have been a number of attacks in recent times, notably of watches, and then of people attacked in their own apartments,” d'Hauteserre said. “Now that this is all a big news story, we hope that the famous gang or gangs will be dismantled and arrested.”
