Kim Kardashian And Kanye West 'are Undergoing Counseling' After Tough 2016 That Included A Robbery And Mental Breakdown

It's been a miserable end to 2016 for both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and the two are seeking help following a brutal few months.

An insider told People on Wednesday the Bound 2 hit-maker and the queen of reality TV are 'both receiving individual therapy' amid a four-month stretch that saw Kim, 36, get robbed at gunpoint in Paris in October, while the Famous singer, 39, was embroiled in a number of personal and professional head-scratchers that led to his November hospitalization at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The insider told the magazine that 'Kim is dealing with the trauma from the robbery' in her therapy sessions, while 'Kanye is receiving help for depression and learning how to cope with stress better.'

As for receiving therapy as a couple, insiders said it's a possibility in the future, but for now, they're seeing therapists separately.

'They might be thinking about couples therapy,' the source said, 'but so far it seems they haven’t had any sessions together.'

Thankfully, the couple - who have two children, three-year-old North and one-year-old Saint - have not given any consideration to parting ways, the source said, adding, 'splitting is not even a point of discussion' and that there's 'truly no truth behind divorce rumors' swirling around the celebrity tandem.

The Paranoid singer's mounting issues - culminating in the cancellation of 21 remaining dates of his Saint Pablo Tour last month - are not a deal-breaker with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians beauty, as they're 'not something she would divorce him over.

'He had a breakdown, but it does not pertain to them not getting along,' the source added.

While Kim has taken a major step back from public after the October 3 heist - in which she was tied up, held at gunpoint and locked in a bathroom as robbers stole more than $10 million - she was spotted Sunday enjoying dinner with her Grammy-winning spouse at Giorgio Baldi, a Santa Monica eatery that's a favorite with celebs.

An eyewitness at the restaurant said that both Kim and Kanye 'were very friendly' and brought a 'good energy' to the venue, albeit they 'weren’t affectionate' with one another during the outing.
