EVERYONE knows their names, but do you know why the Kardashians are the most famous family in America?
If you didn’t realise why those candid beach photos were EVERYWHERE, that North West was a person and if the term ‘momager’ makes you scratch your head, here’s all the information you need to know…
Who are the main members of the Kardashian Family?
Before becoming reality stars, the Kardashian sisters owned their own clothing store DASH, which was where they worked before being on the show.
But now they’re known for their on-screen escapades in one of the most successful reality shows in history.
Meet the full Kardashian family…
Kris Jenner (61)
Self-proclaimed ‘momager’ Kris Jenner has masterminded the meteoric careers of her six children.
She has been married twice, having four children with Robert Kardashian – a key figure in OJ Simpson’s murder trial defence team – before divorcing him in 1991.
Kris went on to have two more daughters during her marriage to former Olympian Bruce, now Caitlyn, Jenner.
The pair divorced in 2014 citing irreconcilable differences – which has since been revealed to be Caitlyn’s transition.
She has been dating Corey Gamble since late 2014.
Kourtney Kardashian (38)
The oldest sister of the clan, Kourtney has a university degree in Theatre Arts with a minor in Spanish from Arizona University.
She became the first family member to appear on reality TV, taking part in Filthy Rich: Cattle drive in 2005.
Kourtney has been in an on/off relationship with Scott Disick since 2006, and together they have three children Mason, Penelope and Reign.
While they were last officially together in 2015, they were said to be giving their relationship another try in 2016, and have remained closely bonded as they raise their children together.
The ups and downs of her relationship with Disick were well documented on the show and their on-off love life has dominated the headlines for years.
In March, Scott admitted to battling with sex addiction after Kourt caught him with another woman when they were said to be rekindling their romance.
It didn’t look like the star was too bothered though, as she recently gave a lap dance to a mystery man in a cheeky Snapchat video.
Kim Kardashian West (36)
Arguably the most famous of the clan, Kim has been ranked at No.42 on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list.
Initially seen as a ‘hanger-on’ to celebrities including Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, Kim’s sex tape with ex Ray J shot her to fame in 2007.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians was released eight months later.
Since then, Kim has developed a make-up and perfume line, launched apps including ‘kimojis’, appeared on Dancing with the Stars and posed for a series of fashion shoots.
Kim has been married twice – with her first marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries only lasting 72 days in 2011.
Dating rapper Kanye West from 2012, the pair married in Florence in 2014.
They have two children together – daughter North West, 3, and son Saint West, 18 months.
Kim has been known for her love of selfies, and nude selfies with her nude cover of Paper magazine threatening to “break the internet”.
In 2014, she launched a mobile game for iPhone and Android called Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. The game was a hit, earning US$1.6 million in its first five days of release.
However, last October during Paris Fashion Week, Kim was robbed at gunpoint in a £9million raid in her luxury suite.
The selfie-loving star withdrew from the public eye completely as a result, and appears to now be more family-oriented as she returned to social media at the beginning of 2017.
She has slowly started returning to her former presence online, and was most recently seen showing off her iconic curves while on holiday – with fans applauding her for allowing them to remain untouched.
Khloe Kardashian (32)
Khloe has been known for her cutting wit and words of wisdom within the family unit.
The star has been married once to NBA basketball player Lamar Odom, only a month after meeting him at a party.
However, she filed for divorce in 2013 and, after helping him recover from an accidental drug overdose in a brothel, finalised the split in 2016.
Since splitting from Lamar, she has been connected to French Montana and is currently dating another NBA player, Tristan Thompson.
She’s not been shy in flaunting her, posing in see-through lingerie and showing off her curves in a Protein World ad campaign.
Kendall Jenner (21)
First appearing on the show at the tender age of 12, Kendall works as an internationally acclaimed model.
The star was named by Forbes magazine as one of the highest earning models of 2016 – matching Karlie Kloss with an estimate £7.7million paycheque and being beaten only by veteran Adriana Lima and Gisele Bunchen.
She is a Victoria’s Secret model, and has walked runways for high fashion brands including Chanel, Givenchy and Mark Jacobs.
Out of all the sisters, she is known to be particularly close to her younger sister Kylie, her only full-blooded sibling, and has even said she’s “more of a Jenner” to distance herself from her older sisters.
The star tends to keep her life private with the exception of the reality show, and has a sparse but active social media presence.
Kylie Jenner (19)
Kylie has become a social media star that is known for her enhanced lips and hourglass figure.
She has since branched out to create her own cosmetics line, Kylie Cosmetics, which includes a lip kit that crashed the website on launch.
The youngest Kardashian has also helped her sister Kendall create fashion lines for high-street stores including Topshop and Pacsun.
For the past two years, she has been in an on/off relationship with rapper Tyga, which started when she was 17 and he was 25.
Rob Kardashian (30)
The most private member of the Kardashian family, Rob is the most removed from the spotlight.
He removed himself from Keeping Up with the Kardashians after being diagnosed with diabetes and gaining weight.
The pregnancy was documented on the spin-off reality show, Rob & Chyna.
Dream is Chyna’s second child after having a son, King Cairo, with former flame Tyga, who went on to have a relationship with Kylie Jenner.
Caitlyn Jenner (67)
For the majority of her life, Caitlyn was known as Bruce Jenner - the gold medal-winning Olympian and former husband of Kris Jenner.
However, in an interview in April 2015, Caitlyn revealed she suffered from gender dysphoria, had spent years cross-dressing and had undergone hormone replacement therapy.
Caitlyn ended her 23-year marriage to Kris the same year and has since undergone cosmetic surgery and sex reassignment surgery which was completed in January.
In 2015 Caitlyn controversially won Glamour magazine's Woman of the Year award and is known as a keen advocate for LGBT rights.
She recently released a tell all memoir The Secrets of my Life, in which she revealed Khloe Kardashian still has a hard time accepting Caitlyn's transition; she feels liberated after her reassignment surgery and that her famiyl were embarrassed by Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
What is Keeping Up With the Kardashians?
Keeping Up With the Kardashians is a reality show that follows all the members of the family, as well as their respective partners, as they deal with their day-to-day lives in the spotlight.
It first aired in October 2007, and has since run for thirteen seasons.
